With Jayce , it is recommended to go for an early Steelcaps rush as that will completely gut him. Most Jayce players opt to go for Lethality early on in order to snowball too which would be negated by Tabis. Against Jayce , Conqueror is a must as you won’t be building damage early. Try to dodge his skillshot poke early on and get used to it.

The enhanced attack will not be consumed if it is parried ( dodge , block, blind, and Riposte). The Mercury Hammer’s bonus damage can affect structures. Both Transform on-hit effects have no set duration and will only be consumed when Jayce either lands a basic attack or switches stances. Transform’s on-hit effects will not proc on wards.
If anything QE is easier to land, placing gate first will allow the enemy to prepare to dodge the skillshot. QE may take a few games to get the hang of it, and QE whilst moving the gate on top of Jayce will also take practice, but this practice is essential if you want to commit to become a good Jayce.

So as with every Jayce lane, you want to try and land your Shockblast+gate to lower the enemy health to all-in them. There are a few opportunities to all-in her. If her wall is down at any point, you should try to jump on her or force her Q as aggressively as possible. If it hits you, insta-clenase it but try to dodge it.

Dodge EQ , only get near him at all if ult is up, keep looking for times to Q him while he’s locked into his auto animation, dodge EQ , really. He isn’t very resilient but he does SO much damage and you are mostly skillshots so it is just easier for him to beat Ahri than vice versa, but she can win.
